InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal – Allée des Marronniers, Route de Plailly, 60520 La Chapelle-en-Serval, FRANCE

Built in the early 20th century, the historic Château Mont Royal building is defined by its Louis XVI architectural style, designed by architect Guillaume Tronchet.

The story goes that the first owner, composer Fernand Halphen, commissioned the building to offer his wife “an enchanting view”.

Today, guests at the InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal continue to be amazed by this same view, but in a more contemporary spirit.
The renovation of the hotel, entrusted to the DUNES engineering firm of architects, now allows guests to enjoy the majesty of the surrounding landscapes and the beauty of the castle’s interiors to the full. Their mission was to bring even more light into the room, enhance the spa area and redesign the catering facilities.
The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal’s 109 rooms and suites, as well as its communal areas, are decorated in a pure light, with noble materials and details reminiscent of the region’s equestrian traditions, such as the meticulous workmanship of Chantilly lace. These were the main themes chosen to magnify the InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal and turn it into a warm, modern 5-star hotel.
